Ranvir Shorey: The Institution Of Family Needs To Change With Time

Ranvir Shorey's upcoming film Titli, which is all about an Indian family, has an interesting tagline - Har Family Family Nahi Hoti.
At a recent press event, the actor was asked whether he believed in the concept of family. Ranvir, who recently separated from his wife Konkona Sen Sharma (Just In: Konkona Sen Sharma, Ranvir Shorey announce their separation, September 14), promptly answered, "Yes, I do believe in the concept of a family. But what I also believe is that the institution of family needs to change with time."
The actor added that the elders in family need to make their teachings a bit more realistic, so that the youngsters can relate to them.
Titli has been garnering great reviews across the globe at various film festivals. It was an official entry at the Cannes Film Festival last year and won acclaim. Directed by Kanu Behl, the film also stars Shashank Arora, Amit Sial, Lalit Behl, Prashant Singh and Shivani Raghuvanshi in lead roles. It hits the screens on October 30, 2015.
